“Daniel collected us from our cruise ship in Getxo. His English is excellent, he is knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. He took us first to the museum and explained the history of the area and the significance of the redevelopment. The Guggenheim was not guided so we spent about 90 minutes enjoying the museum and met back up for the second part of the tour in the old town. We wandered the streets and learned some history of Bilbao, enjoyed lunch and returned to the ship. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to avoid the large group tours.”

“Good walking shoes are a must. The hike out to the monastery Gaztelugatxe could be quite challenging if you are not in reasonably good health, that is having no problems walking/hiking. We were surprised at just what an endeavor it was! But absolutely worth it! We also thought the visit to Guernika was so meaningful, even more so than seeing the original Picasso painting in Madrid. A must see! Our guide Felix was excellent, thorough explanations and thoughtfully suggesting logistics and timing. Absolutely recommend this tour!”
