Incredible views throughout the tour despite typical rainy conditions in the area. Telmo took us on a journey through the unique history of basque fishing towns and their culture. He made our trip comfortable and has a high level of knowledge and local expertise about both the area and the wine. Would highly recommend.”

“Best part of our trip. Easily the most authentic. We did the pintxo tours, but this was 10 hours and only 300 each. Julian is from the area. He took us to all these places you won’t find in the city or books. He loves his region. He knows all about the history. And just look at my pictures. Where else can you get that? It was like a religious experience going to the peak.”

“The hike was lovely. The guide was fine - a bit disengaged and didn’t seem to know as much about the area as the local guides we had on other tours. But all in all, a great hike - just not sure you need to do it with a guide. If you can find the trailhead, you could follow the trail yourself and call your own taxi back to San Sebastián.”
